Mother’s Day ~Reality~

Sunday just passed was Mother’s Day here in Australia. I had big hopes leading into this very important day of the year – naturally!

I have to admit that I didn’t quite get waffles with blueberry ice-cream for breakfast, nor did I get time to relax somewhere dreamy with a book. I did however have what I can only describe as a magnificent day. It included: breaky in bed with all 4 of us + Edna, heaps of undivided family time, flowers, kisses, laughs, sunshine, jokes and lots of love. (Unfortunately it also included me stacking it off a scooter and busting my leg up whilst racing Chili on his BMX – Ha!)
